JALISCO GRILL
About This Spot
Jalisco Grill in Basalt carries the easygoing spirit of a beloved local Mexican eatery where warmth and good company come naturally. Stepping inside or settling into the sunlit patio, you’re wrapped in a relaxed pace that invites you to unwind after a day exploring or working nearby. It’s the kind of place where people gather not just for a meal but for moments that feel like a welcome break—a spot with lively hums of conversation, friendly greetings from the staff, and a sense of familiar comfort.
The atmosphere flows smoothly between casual and thoughtful, reflected in the way dishes arrive at the table—generous in portion and honest in flavor, never flashy but always satisfying. Whether it’s the allure of a perfectly charred carne asada, a fresh catch wrapped in a crisp tortilla, or a handmade burrito crafted with care, each bite carries an inviting simplicity grounded in tradition. Pairing this with a robust Cadillac margarita or a cold Michelada feels less like ordering off a menu and more like joining a shared ritual.
Behind the scenes, the kitchen thoughtfully caters to individual preferences, ensuring that every guest feels seen and valued. The welcoming service mirrors the authenticity of the food, guiding you through the menu with friendly recommendations that feel personal rather than rehearsed.
Jalisco Grill isn’t about grand statements but rather about creating a space where good Mexican food, genuine smiles, and community intersect. It’s the kind of place that quietly earns a loyal following, leaving you already considering your next visit before you’ve finished your first meal.

Cheap, hot, fast and delicious. The waitress was amazing! I ordered the chile verda for $21. Came with rice, beans, torillas and a good portion of pork. My wife asked for a burrito without meat and the kitchen hooked it up. It was less than $16 and turned into a second meal at the hotel. (Disclaimer fine dining NYC chef)

Very good local Mexican food. Good portions and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly. Ask for the servers recommendations and she said the Carna Asada which was delicious. Appears they had a very good tequila selection that sadly I didn't try.

This definitely is hands down one of the best Mexican place I have visited. There is a variety of food on the menu. Food is fresh , delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend getting the chicken quesadilla.

Have you ever had a long day, plus a two hour mountain bike ride, and just thought to yourself “Gee golly gosh I could use a nice fish taco and marg right now?” Well I sure have, and just happened to vamos over to this place to try it out. Well I got those things and now I am wondering where do I get a sixth star for my review?? Nothing fishy about this place, just high quality Mexican food and lots of lovely staff.

Dined outside, friendly and fast service and the flavors in our dishes were great!
